• May need to test different options

• Need to recharge every so often
• Noise cancellation options are pricey
• Some wired options available

White noise machine (noise masking)

• Larger variety of options
• In principle similar to in-ear earbuds
• Can disturb others nearby (romantic partners, neighbours, etc.)

• NOTE: I didn’t look too much into individual devices, this is an established product category

• Free options
• Largest variety of sounds
• Same issues as white noise machines
• Can use with an existing portable or wireless speaker
• YouTube has a large number of options
• Can use music
